Bravery
I said it and no one stopped me, not even those who really tried to. I still have the right to tell the truth to those who don’t know they’ve been gaslit and lied to. Divine light blooms in all, its beam broad, not narrow. Divine love hugs all creatures, mourns the fallen sparrow. Did someone tell you God’s love was hard to get and easy to lose? The devil manipulates their tongue, how could Heaven be Heaven without you? Dogma discouraging love should be considered highly suspect. You’re allowed to raise doubts no matter who it might upset. Blue is for equality and the Constitution and democracy. Red’s corrupted by fascism, bought by billionaires, advancing kleptocracy. Many will say they’re the same coin, different sides. But only one side has a history of governing without a lot of Americans dying. Being critical of the regime these days invariably makes you its target. Call out it’s every evil anyway, bravery is what resistance is armed with. The power belongs to the people, we can’t be governed unless we consent. Authoritarianism survives on fear, we either conquer ours or the nightmare is permanent.
