Brick By Brick

If Hell can freeze over
can Heaven catch fire?
I ask because my Hell froze 
Now I fear its full force shrieking 
after the blessings all around me 
All the things I find my Heaven in 
and try to add to, brick by brick 

(Metaphorical brick, of course, in Heaven 
nothing as heavy as a brick would be tolerated 
But to the point it's a Heaven I'll protect)

Fire by its nature is not some ancient evil 
The monster that makes us fear it 
is not its rightful owner 
The monster's greatest weakness 
is that its source of strength 
is still just stolen property 
which will one day be reclaimed 

(Which means that if 
fire reached Heaven
Heaven would burn the fire)
