Primal Powers
There's no limit to the infinite
or to the subatomic
You can always go bigger
Always go smaller
That's how it works in God's arithmetic
Sometimes it feels like you can't stand it
The forces pulling you outward and apart
The forces driving you to shrink within
But you are made of primal powers
just like everything
Think of how strong you've already been
How often you've been reconfigured and lived
The times you found even more to give
though you felt entirely depleted
The pebble in the ocean gets
sanded down but persists
Its basic building blocks remain
even when microscopic
The asteroid belt in the
reaches of space scatters far
but there's plenty of room to
sprawl out among stars
Plenty of room to buckle
and reshape among friends
I promise the breakdown
isn't the end
There isn't an end
There is only transformation
Remember that always when
you're feeling impatient
