Wholly
Quite a racket but what'd I expect Quite a quandary to add to my set Feels like one big bruise under my flesh Being down and out brings out my best Such a stud so sheepish and shy Such a charge between us when we say hi Might be dying but right now my heart hammers His line hits harder when he sort of stammers Could be talking about him or me Could be affecting airs but I truly believe Trying to help him see how we're one I've said too much but I'm not nearly done Wish gathers substance gathers import and force Wish of mine is echoed by him in due course Better more powerful tougher reflecting more light Poem and rap meet in the middle both tight Dream while awake cos he unfetters me wholly Dream in his eyes inviting me in while unfolding Share all this we will lay ourselves bare we are Invisible bruises no more peace out spirit scars Merge tenses sentences senses dementias Merge sanity psychosis profanity hypnosis Norm and Norma normal don't know they combine But we do and that's just one more certain sign Denounce debunked doctor's illogical logic Denounce crazy capitalism cos it's only bondage Love each other even off of the meds The forever prescriptions silence our heads Alive shouldn't be so quiet why mute us Alive together we can't help but trust our own science no more murky than psychiatry I stop hallucinating when I see his eyes on me Colors leap and froth between us like rapids Colors beyond all combined color's bandwidth Voices are real blooming booming bending light with a range singing swelling unending Glimpse bliss in naked mirror reflections Glimpse glitch in fabric forming this dimension made by my mind mouth and his speaking in unison secret word secret thesis Birds that flap wings branching time Birds much smaller than he and I If they ripple reality what do we effect when up to our necks in cosmic sex Love is the point and what it unlocks Love is for him because he's a fox All the rest we discover is just a bonus Spacetime is waiting to betroth us

This poem feels like someone thinking out loud with their whole being, letting emotion, fear, desire, and clarity spill without restraint.
There’s something deeply human in the way bruises, doubts, shyness, and longing sit right beside cosmic visions and raw honesty.
The speaker moves between bravado and fragility, as if love were both a refuge and a fault line cracking under their feet.
The poem’s wild shifts mirror the inner chaos of two minds trying to meet without losing themselves.
Its vulnerability is unfiltered, almost trembling, especially when the speaker admits how grounding another person’s presence can be.
The moment where hallucinations quiet in someone’s gaze feels like a confession whispered from a place of real need.
Language bends and spirals the way their thoughts do, turning confusion into a strange, shared rhythm.
Love here isn’t gentle it’s electric, disorienting, a force that rearranges the inner weather.
What moves most is the sense that connection, however messy, becomes a brief shelter from the storm inside.
What lingers is the fragile hope that being truly seen might be enough to keep someone from breaking apart.
